Estate Administration
The death of a relative or close friend is a difficult time even before you start thinking about dealing with the deceased’s financial affairs. Most people will never have been involved with the administration of an estate previously and can become confused by a host of legal terms and procedural matters. If you’ve been named or appointed as Executor, you may need to resolve many issues like life insurance policies; beneficiaries of RRSPs, RRIFs or TFSAs; jointly held assets; and much more.  Acting as an Executor can be a very tough job; many people who accept this role don’t fully understand all the duties, responsibilities and personal liabilities that come with it. If there is no will, things can become even more complicated.

The Turtleford Credit Union is here to help with all questions or concerns you may have. To make this process easy for you, credit unions like Turtleford Credit Union have relied on Concentra Trust for nearly 60 years to deliver professional estate administration services throughout Canada.
